Belidor AI has raised $7.9 million in Series A funding to advance an AI-powered operational intelligence platform for water treatment facilities.
The round, announced on February 4, 2026, was co-led by T Bridge Venture Partners and 49th Fund, with participation from PACA Ventures, Nexenai Capital, and A195 Capital.
Water treatment facilities generate large amounts of operational information, but much of it remains divided across control systems, spreadsheets, laboratory records, paper logs, maintenance systems, and the experience of individual operators. This can make it difficult for teams to understand why performance has changed, identify emerging risks, and coordinate action before an issue affects compliance, uptime, or operating costs.
Led by founder Jerry Hanson, Belidor AI is developing a unified platform that turns those information sources into operational context. At the centre of the product is Agent Zed, an AI process engineer that works with a facility's own readings, logs, and documents. Operators and managers can use it to investigate performance, ask questions about plant conditions, create charts, analyse uploaded data, and schedule recurring monitoring or reporting jobs.
The platform is designed to provide answers grounded in the plant's own information rather than generic AI responses. Scheduled jobs can review recent data, identify abnormal conditions, check manually entered values, and deliver findings with supporting context and suggested next steps.
Belidor AI combines these AI capabilities with digital twins, historical plant audits, dashboards, calculated metrics, alerts, notifications, tasks, procedures, and data integrations. Its alerting tools can identify forecast crossings, unusual patterns, and missing data in addition to conventional high-low threshold events.
The company says the platform works with infrastructure that treatment facilities already have. It can use data from SCADA systems, historians, spreadsheets, manual rounds, and plant documents. Connections to control-system data are read-only, meaning the software cannot change setpoints or issue operational commands.
Belidor AI is targeting wastewater, drinking water, industrial water, food and beverage, desalination, and water reuse facilities. The Series A provides additional backing as the company develops its platform, supports more implementations, and expands AI-powered decision support across the water sector.
